TRIO Upward Bound Vision Quest

Who we are: 

TRIO Upward Bound Vision Quest (UBVQ) is hosted by the University of Minnesota-Duluth and is a college access program that is like no other; we offer 1-on-1 in-person academic advising, host monthly workshops, and give students the opportunity to visit college campuses. Our program is a 6-7 hours monthly commitment, allowing students the opportunity to balance our program requirements with school, work, and personal life.

 

At this time, we are heavily recruiting 9th and 10th grade students who are eligible to participate in our program based on the following criteria: 

·  Is a citizen or permanent resident (the requirement is likely to change in a few years)

·  Is a potential first-generation college student;

·  Is a low-income individual; or

·  Is an individual who has a high risk of academic failure

 

Available Monday through Thursdays at South. Located in the media center.
