Site Council

Site Council: is to support site-based decision making to increase academic outcomes for our students. Site council is the way that families and community members can learn what is happening at South and influence decisions. It is important for site council to reflect the students population of the school to ensure a diversity of ideas and input. Site council influences: 

  • Long-range planning
  • Development and oversight of the School Improvement Plan (SIP)
  • Advising administration on school issues
  • Development of the Family Engagement Plan (FEP)
  • Communication with other stakeholders

Regular meetings - 3rd  or 4th Thursday of the month, 5:00 p.m.
