Lifelong Learning Opportunities for Youth and Adults

South Community Education is located at South High School in the vibrant Corcoran Neighborhood. We offer adult enrichment classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in a variety of subjects.

Beacons Youth After School

Beacons after-school programs are a partnership between YWCA Minneapolis and MPS Community Education. Clubs run Monday-Thursday from 3:15 to 5:30 p.m. Free snack power boxes are offered.

All after-school programing is free of charge for our South High students. Students must be registered for Beacons to stay after school. For more information, stop by room 103.
