TESTING WITH ACCOMMODATIONS
-
Students with Special Education (IEP) and 504 plans are eligible for accommodations.
-
Two different organizations administer College-related exams with two different timelines for requesting accommodations:
-
The College Board administers the PSAT, SAT, and Advanced Placement Exams. Click here for guidelines to apply for accommodations for these exams.
-
The ACT administers the ACT. Click here for guidelines to apply for accommodations for this exam.
-
ACT
-
We will be offering the ACT Test for free in spring of 2025. Check this spot for additional information later in the school year.
-
Students planning on attending a two-year college typically take the Accuplacer, not the ACT, to determine course level placement. Students may take the ACT as an alternate to qualify for college level course work.
-
Students who indicate that they plan to take the exam will formally register via the ACT website at a later time once we receive next steps from the district.
-
In the meantime, students must fill out the Google Form to indicate whether or not they plan to take the ACT next spring.
-
If students have questions about whether or not they should take the exam, have them speak to their school counselor.
