South High Voices Class at the State Capitol

South High Voices Class students had an incredible experience at the State Capitol for the Model Legislature! Voices Classes are taught by Laura Lanik and Delainia Haug. For two days, they stepped into the shoes of lawmakers, crafting bills and advocating for change as representatives of Minnesota. 🏛️

Shoutout to Vee Reeves for being elected Lieutenant Governor, and Ksinya Daniel for serving as Clerk to the Speaker of the House! A big congratulations to everyone who took on leadership roles as committee chairs and assistants. Your hard work, dedication, and passion made this an unforgettable experience!
